Aromatic white wine with white flowers, fennel and aniseed in the nose. Great freshness, lovely acidity and beautiful mouthfeel. A mineral backbone in the finish.

Marco Colicchio is a young oenologist who is making wine with his father on vulcanic soils in the Castelli Romani area, just a few miles southeast of Rome. In under 1,5 acres they’re growing indegenous grapes as Falanghina, Malvasia, Grechetto and a little Sangiovese. Organic practices in the vineyard, of course. In the cellar the grapes are crushed, destemmed and pressed softly. The fermentation is spontanous with temperature control. No fining nor filtration. No added sulphur.
