A wine from the Godfather of Orange Wine in Italy, Josko Gravner, who single-handedly put Italy on the map! A father figure for many young and aspiring winemakers. The 2011 Ribolla is a rich orange wine with great structure and quite welcoming tannins. The complexity is pronounced and dried flowers, resin and caramelised fruits stand out of the many layers in the wine. Give it time in the glass to develop. A extremely unique wine in so many ways!
