Intense red with a quite vibrant feeling. Red, ripe berries, wild herbs, light toasted coffee beans and white pebbles. A great concentration and mix of minerality and fruit.
Region: Sicily (Etna)
Grapes: Nerello Mascalese
Vineyard: From the vineyards Chiusa Spagnolo, Monte Colla, Porcaria, Crasa, Piano Daini (60+ years old vines). Slopes on the northern side of Etna.
Vinification: Spontanous fermentation, maceration 60 days, vinified in fiberglass.
Aging: 18 months in fiberglass.
